Pixels & Sawdust (P&S) is my blog about my woodworking pursuits like designing projects by making 3D models with SketchUp, building the projects and, then creating woodworking plans from those 3D models and the knowledge gained from the building process.
As with many things in life, there are many ways to accomplish something in woodworking. I usually do a lot of research while I’m working on a project; mostly on the internet but, also in books and magazines. Most of the time what I learn from my research ends up being the best solution for me. Sometimes, after I’ve completed a process or project, I find out that another solution would have been better so I woodwork and learn,
Posting on my blog may be sporadic for a while as I work out a flow for developing and publishing all of the things that I want to share here on Pixels and Sawdust. I hope you will bear with me as I hobble my way along the learning curve.
